Responsibility
- key duties include a range of responsibilities, which include but are not limited to
- providing HR advice, guidance and support to managers and employees within the company
- coach managers on best practice in relation to people management, performance and disciplinary matters to ensure consistency of approach
- support recruitment and on-boarding activity to develop the workforce to meet future business needs
- ensure HR processes are in line with best practice and legislative requirements across all Star Group companies
- support continued Investors in People and Investors in Young People recognition and improvement activity in line with the framework
- location: Glasgow with Hybrid Working
- hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 17.00, Friday 08:30 to 16.00
Requirements
- previous experience in a similar generalist HR Advisor role
- sound working knowledge of UK Employment Law
- strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- able to work flexibly on a variety of duties and prioritise tasks efficiently
- highly organised and detail oriented, with good administration skills
- the ability to take initiative and have a proactive approach
