Responsibility

• to assist the Manager and assistant manager in all of the below
• overseeing and managing staff on the ground, exercising, feeding, grooming and all aspects of care for the animals in our establishment
• keeping exercise yards and surrounding areas clean, neat and tidy

• you are expected to do these tasks alongside staff and control-check to ensure high standards are maintained in all areas
• we are looking for someone who is confident and knowledgeable in reading dog and cat behaviour and body language
• the welfare of our boarding animals is paramount, and you would need to have a scrupulous eye for detail especially when feeding and administering medication
• conduct regular inspections of all buildings and facilities and report any repairs/maintenance required, ensuring the site is kept in a secure, tidy and attractive condition. We actively encourage ideas for improvement
