- assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems and components
- interpret technical drawings for precise assembly, inc. pipe cutting, threading, and hammering to specs
- perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting, ie, pumps, motors, silo, pipework
- collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure quality and efficiency
- adhere to safety and quality standards at all times
- contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role
- strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- A valid CSCS Card
- applicants must have knowledge of ISO 9001 and CE marking for structural steel
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- good knowledge of MIG and TIG welding would be advantageous
- must have own transport
