Responsibility

  • ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturers procedures and in a safe and responsible manner
  • assist in the fault diagnosis process
  • road Test vehicles when required (if holder of HGV Licence
  • ensure that all vehicle defects are reported to the workshop manager
  • on occasions you will be required to travel to site and lodge overnight

Requirements

  • HGV 1/2 Licence would be advantageous
  • knowledge of HGVs and their components
  • ability to diagnose and repair faults in HGVs
  • ideally have a formal qualification to NVQ level 3 or equivalent
