- plan, organise, direct and coordinate the day to day operations of the Home
- embrace Home policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient operation of the Home
- provide direction and leadership to all Home personnel including communication and interpretation of policy, procedure and staff contracts
- comply with all relevant legislation and regulations e.g. Care Inspectorate Wales Act 2016/ National Minimum Standards Social Care Wales; Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
- take appropriate measures to ensure optimum occupancy is maintained at all times
- adult Nursing Degree / Qualification

Requirements
- to have QCF Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services
- to be registered with Social Care Wales
- knowledge and sound understanding of the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care Act 2016
- effective verbal, written, literacy and numeracy skills
- proven record and passion for providing elderly, person centred care and positive outcomes
- positive, flexible attitude and a desire to make a difference
- an understanding of and adherence to Caron Group’s ethos
- be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of the needs of the older person and the role of the Registered Manager
