finance manager
Responsibility
- manage the end-to-end transaction processing function and team
- we are a well-regarded, close-knit team, of talented subject matter experts, renowned for our ability to deliver
- lead initiatives for process improvements within the finance department. Analyse and develop our internal systems, streamlining our processes
- our ethos is focused on customer satisfaction, equity, teamwork, support and development, and engendering a healthy home/work life balance
- prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
- review and approve monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- manage forecasting and cash flow
- manage the annual budget process and forecasts throughout the financial year
Requirements
- ideally qualified a recognised accounting qualification e.g. ACCA or CIMA
- qualified Accountant with at least 5 years’ experience
- previous experience in managing people
- highly proficient with accounts payable processes and systems
- strong knowledge of financial accounting practices
- experience of working with SAGE is desirable but not essential
