Responsibility
- starting as a 3-month temporary position with the potential to become permanent
- exciting full-time opportunity for an individual with a passion for farm animals has arisen caring for a range of domestic animals kept as pets in a private facility near Windsor, Bucks-Berks border
- clean stables, pens, shelters, and paddocks to maintain hygienic and safe conditions
Requirements
- previous experience working with livestock, especially alpacas, goats, and/or larger animals like cows and donkeys, is highly desirable
- working with farm animals - 1 year
- strong understanding of animal handling, welfare, and routine care
- physically fit and able to perform outdoor manual labour in all weather conditions
- confident working independently and as part of a small team
- basic knowledge of farm tools, machinery, and general estate maintenance
- reliable, observant, and proactive in identifying issues with animals or equipment
- full driving licence preferred; tractor or ATV experience a plus
