Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- undertake analysis on samples from a variety of different sources
- record data on relevant documentation and databases
- maintain and calibrate laboratory instrumentation
- maintain a high level of laboratory housekeeping
- top-up and make-up necessary laboratory reagents
- work in a safe and tidy manner
- provide a timely, reliable and independent analytical service to internal and external customers throughout the year to agreed timelines
- respond to QC / Instrument queries. Help to resolve issues and support the QC shift function throughout the year
Education
- A-Level or equivalent
Requirements
- qualified to a minimum of A-Level in Chemistry or related science
- ability to follow procedures consistently and to produce and maintain accurate records
- ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
- proficient IT skills
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a larger team
