Responsibility
- we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager to oversee the operations of our motor factor branch
- managing and motivating the team to increase sales and ensure efficiency

- you will develop knowledge of products through study of internal literature
- the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the branch, ensuring that sales targets are met, and customer satisfaction is maintained
- build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
- ensuring banking is carried out regularly and accurately
- the Branch Manager will also be responsible for managing a team of sales representatives and ensuring that they are meeting their targets
- you will occasionally assist with deliveries / warehousing at particularly busy times
- ensure that the branch is compliant with all health and safety regulations
- updating store staff on store performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues
- manage the branch budget and ensure that expenses are kept within budgetary constraints
- pre and Post operational checks; ensuring shop areas are ready for customers, all signage is correct and up to date, ensuring close down procedure is adhered to, quality checks made throughout the day
- making regular tours of the sales floor, talking to colleagues and customers, identifying urgent issues and solving them
- provide regular reports to senior management on branch performance
- possessing good product knowledge or being enthusiastic to learn to enable you to effectively communicate with customers to be able to sell and up sell
- organising promotions, displays and events
- you must contribute to a positive team performance whilst working on personal benchmarks to optimize personal performance and work on sale product promotions
- working flexible hours across the trading week in accordance with the needs of the store
Requirements
- at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the automotive industry
- strong leadership and management skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
