Responsibility
- managing and motivating the team to increase sales and ensure efficiency
- managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control
- delivering excellent customer service and engaging customers to support a culture of customer service and selling
- responding effectively to customer complaints and comments
- ensuring banking is carried out regularly and accurately
- updating store staff on store performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues
- pre and Post operational checks; ensuring shop areas are ready for customers, all signage is correct and up to date, ensuring close down procedure is adhered to, quality checks made throughout the day
- making regular tours of the sales floor, talking to colleagues and customers, identifying urgent issues and solving them
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- an enthusiastic, friendly & professional manner
- excellent telephone/ interpersonal skills
- good communication skills are essential
- IT literacy skills
- must be able to work on initiative and as part of a team
- motor Factor: 1 year
- management: 1 year
