Responsibility
- supporting planning and production engineers in assessing existing and alternative production methods
- following the knitting garments product through samples to production
- preparing and buying all trims and planning embroidery/print processes before production
- supporting implementation of plans of sequence of operations and completion dates for each phase of production or processing
- developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drives business growth
- leading the sales team, setting sales targets, and providing guidance and support to achieve sales objectives
- identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to expand the customer base
- working from, and helping implement, professional engineers’ drawings and specifications for equipment and layout, and helping to implement modifications required for existing layout
Requirements
- strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
- excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- A degree or a relevant education and training in Textile Technology, Computer programming Fashion or Business Administration
- experience in textile production, purchase and sales
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
