Responsibility
- preparation & Reporting of Management Accounts for your Team
- you may need to cover some tasks for holiday cover, as required, across any of the other teams
- SML Group Ltd have an outstanding opportunity for someone to join the Finance Team , in a rapidly expanding company, as an Assistant Management Accountant - You will be reporting to the Group Finance Manager
- scope of the Role This role is working heading the Subsidence Team and you will be responsible for a team of up to 5 employees
- your understanding of the business and commercial acumen will support you to control costs and drive the Group forward, sharing resource and knowledge
- assisting and managing Payment of Suppliers, Staff expenses, Director Expenses
- attending meetings with suppliers/customers as required
- formulating strategies with the FD & MD – highlighting problem areas/trends. Cost saving where appropriate. Put into practise any cost saving measures/procedure changes, as necessary
Education
- diploma of Higher Education
Requirements
- sage 50 Accounts
- organisational Skills
- effective Team Member and Interpersonal skills
- AAT Qualification or above – or equivalent experience
- attention to Detail
- time Management
- highly Motivated
- accounting: 5 years
