Responsibility
- the Business Development Manager is a new role at Smartdesc, an established and successful IT Service Provider
- you will be responsible for new client acquisition, owning the sales cycle from pre-sales through to winning the contract

- you will proactively seek out new sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound channels, nurturing and developing these into converted new business and long-term partnerships
- you will lead the bid team for each opportunity that you own, understanding the customer requirements in detail, qualifying the opportunities and prioritising the bids, finalising proposals to an excellent standard, and the presentations at the final pitch interviews
- you will be supported by our Marketing function, collaborate closely with our senior leadership team and partners such as Microsoft Tech for Social Impact and Charity IT Leaders to grow your network, leveraging our unique position as trusted Thought Leaders in the charity sector, to generate and convert sales opportunities
