Responsibility
- to provide support to tenants of the highest standard at all times
- to use own initiative where necessary when working with tenants and colleagues
- to ensure tenants needs are met
- to assist tenants to have an improved quality of life and empower them to make choices
- to bring to the attention of the Manager any concerns relating to tenants and their wellbeing
- to protect each tenant from any form of abuse
- to move tenants into their accommodation using own vehicle
- smartmove provides supported housing options and delivers a holistic housing service to help vulnerable adults to sustain their tenancy, develop their skills and prevent homelessness
Requirements
- NVQ in Care, Advice and Guidance or other relevant subject
- legible handwriting
- ability to communicate verbally and non-verbally
- able to plan and organise own work
- NVQ in health and social care is desired however full training will be provided to the successful candidate
- able to make and maintain accurate records; both verbal and numerical
- able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people using appropriate media
- able to assist people with basic numerical calculations e.g. rent payments
