dealing with tax investigations

assisting junior members of staff with their queries
we work with owner managed businesses and individuals across a range of sectors, providing a variety of accountancy services and are a small, friendly team of accountants, bookkeepers and administrative staff
dealing with new client enquires
preparing accounts and tax returns for all business types, including limited companies, partnerships and sole traders, as well as for individuals

bookkeeping to Trial Balance on Xero for a variety of business types, including shops, restaurants, builders, consultants etc
entering invoices, bills and payments, reconciling bank and other accounts, entering journals including relating to payroll
sending queries to clients and dealing with their responses, including chasing clients as needed

responding to queries from clients
preparation of VAT and/or CIS returns, depending on experience
ensuring items are recorded correctly for both VAT registered and non-VAT registered businesses, including those with more complex VAT situations such as the domestic reverse charge and overseas transactions
