Responsibility

  • bookkeeping to Trial Balance on Xero for a variety of business types, including shops, restaurants, builders, consultants etc
  • entering invoices, bills and payments, reconciling bank and other accounts, entering journals including relating to payroll
  • sending queries to clients and dealing with their responses, including chasing clients as needed
  • responding to queries from clients
  • preparation of VAT and/or CIS returns, depending on experience
  • ensuring items are recorded correctly for both VAT registered and non-VAT registered businesses, including those with more complex VAT situations such as the domestic reverse charge and overseas transactions
