Responsibility

  • inform regularly and liaise fully with the Nursery managers
  • support management team with implementing the Curriculum
  • ensure that all aspects of the Nursery and its curriculum remain compliant with Safeguarding and Regulatory requirements
  • maintain at all times, a high standard of professional conduct and a child centred approach to the education
  • plan and construct the staff induction programme
  • oversee Performance Management

Requirements

  • minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualification
  • 3 years post qualification experience
  • strong leadership skills
  • A proven record of Management/leadership experience
  • excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • strong people skills with the ability to listen, support and guide colleagues
  • be confident, friendlily and very approachable
