Responsibility
- perform welding, fabricating, and assembly tasks, adhering to blueprints and design sketches
- supervise and mentor apprentices, offering hands-on training and constructive feedback
- uphold safety procedures and company policies at all times
- collaborate with the team to maintain equipment and manage supplies
- evaluate the work of apprentices and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills

- this is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Welder/ Fabricator to pass on their skills to our Apprentices and help to ‘Develop the Next Generation of World Class Engineers’
Requirements
- proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator
- certification from a technical school or completion of an apprenticeship
- proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding, and in using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
- strong knowledge of metal properties and other materials
- ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- excellent mentorship skills with an ability to inspire and motivate apprentices
- commitment to compliance with all safety protocols
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
