Responsibility
- assist in maintaining accurate financial records by recording day-to-day transactions using double-entry bookkeeping principles
- learn and adapt to our company's bookkeeping procedures and software
- take on increasing levels of responsibility as you grow within the role, including reconciling accounts and preparing financial statements
- collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- demonstrate outstanding organizational skills by managing multiple tasks efficiently and meeting deadlines
- communicate effectively with team members and clients, both verbally and in writing, to ensure clear understanding of financial information
- actively participate in training sessions and seek opportunities for continuous learning and development
- take ownership of assigned tasks and strive for excellence in all aspects of your work
Requirements
- basic understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles
- proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the company
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- excellent communication and listening skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- ability to take on responsibility and deliver outstanding results
- prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting is a plus, but not required
- enrolment in or completion of AAT and/or ACCA qualifications is preferred
