SENSE IT SUPPORT AND SERVICES is looking for employees for positions:

support engineer

Working hours

  • full-time

Responsibility

  • diagnosing and resolving technical issues on your own and as part of a team
  • assist with troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues
  • handling escalated calls from first line members
  • handling first line support calls/emails, as required, to assist in busy periods / when covering leave
  • log calls via the helpdesk software, keeping tickets up to date
  • provide support to customers via telephone, email and remote control
  • take ownership of customer tickets and be proactive when dealing with their issues
  • ensure all requests meet or exceed contractual Service Level Agreements

Requirements

  • two to four years in a second line technical support role
  • good understanding of Managed and Outsourced services
  • comfortable using remote support tools such as Logmein
  • good understanding of file and folder permissions
  • strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Exchange email services
  • strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop technologies
  • board knowledge of printers
  • good knowledge of IT infrastructure, servers, networks and firewalls
