Responsibility
- represent Selmach to our customers in a positive manner
- visit customer sites for diagnosis of machine faults / repairs / routine servicing / training
- provide telephone technical support to customers
- carry out installation, commissioning and training of sold machinery
- carry out repair and refurbishment of used machinery for resale, including cleaning, painting and identifying and sourcing of parts
- inspect and test machines prior to despatch at our Hereford base
- maintain good communication and prompt responses with the service team and customer about current issues, proposed solutions and outstanding work
- assist with building a knowledgebase of common faults and solutions
Requirements
- ability to communicate effectively with customers, field colleagues, office colleagues
- experience with Electrical fault finding and repairs
- experience with Hydraulic / Mechanical fault finding and repairs
- aptitude to carry out software and programming alterations under guidance from machine manufacturers
- willingness to go the extra mile to learn, solve problems and give our customer’s a “WOW!” experience
