Responsibility
- ensure optimal distribution center inventory levels to support dispatches, prevent stock shortages, and avoid excess stock
- monitor and audit perpetual inventory counts to ensure accuracy
- develop and maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor their performance
- maintain Cargowise accruals reports for invoicing and address supplier invoice queries
- oversee new supplier and product implementations
- collaborate closely with the Supply Chain Team
- maintain the demand planning system and software, including accurate product setup and maintenance, currency rates, and IPR goods for VAT submissions
- regularly review the Demand Planning Tool Dashboard, analyse forecast vs. actual data, monitor forecast trends, categorize SKU
Requirements
- previous demand planning experience
- knowledge of supply chain processes and systems
- good knowledge of inventory management and forecasting principles
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- analytical with great attention to detail
- experience in ERP systems
- accreditation in supply planning, CIPs, or other inventory management would be an advantage
- comfortable working with and analyzing large data sets
