Responsibility
- meet clients in person or virtually to discuss their project needs
- survey ships across the globe, gathering all the detail required to provide a detailed quotation for the project
- work with internal and external stakeholders to revise the quotation to the final bid stage
- the estimator will be responsible for meeting clients, surveying works, producing quotations, and winning projects
- hand over successful quotations to our projects team for implementation
- SD Marine Interiors is looking for an experience marine interiors estimator to join our interior outfitting team, however we will consider an experienced estimator from a different discipline in the marine industry, or an interior estimator from land based works
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- marine interior outfitting estimating experience preferable
- strong attention to deadlines
- proven success working with all levels of management
- strong written and verbal communication skills
