Responsibility
- remove and dispose of construction debris, such as scrap materials and packaging, in accordance with health and safety regulations
- use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment to clean and sanitize surfaces
- follow cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure that all areas are cleaned to the required standard
- respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations
- maintain cleaning equipment and report any faults or damages to the supervisor
- carry out a range of cleaning tasks in construction sites, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, and cleaning of surfaces and equipment
- complete necessary paperwork and documentation related to cleaning tasks
Requirements
- previous experience in construction cleaning or a similar role is preferred
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
- ability to use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and efficiently
- strong attention to detail and ability to ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
- ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, if required
- strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
