Responsibility

• coach staff to identify their individualised learning pathway and work towards achieving the objectives
• lead the recruitment of School Secretary
• co-ordinate any relevant training within the service

• co-ordinate the school specific administration such as attendance and pupil census data
• support the Health and Safety requirements of the school e.g. Fire Marshall
• oversee and support all stages of recruitment including the onboarding process, induction and safer recruitment checks, whilst being a signatory for Disclosure Scotland PVG application forms
• ensure there is a high standard of record keeping within the service for any financial processes including petty cash and purchase orders
• co-ordinate the handling and usage of a company credit card within the service, adhering to Scottish Autism’s finance policy and procedures
• assist with general enquiries, reception, sorting and distribution of mail, diary management, arranging meetings and minute taking when required
• this role provides efficient and effective office administration support and is responsible for supporting all administrative functions within the school and residences
