- to be the supply chain link between the Customer Service, Manufacturing and Purchasing Teams to manage production constraints
- responsible for the regular review and maintenance of the planning parameters within the ERP system, e.g
- using the site’s ERP system, generate and schedule optimised weekly production plans to support both safety stock and firm customer demand
- maintain the Schedule and Volume Adherence KPIs for designated production plant
- utilise firm and forecasted demand to drive raw material requirements. Where required, plan secondary manufactured raw materials with the relevant manufacturing plants ensuring all raw materials are available
- liaise with the Purchasing Team to ensure raw material deliveries are aligned to the scheduled production plans, setting priorities if required and escalating any issues as required
- manage sub-contracting process and related ERP system activity
- attend the daily and weekly Production Meetings in order to monitor progress against the production plan and proactively manage actual or potential delays with the Customer Service Team to minimise impact on customer service levels
