SCOTMAS GROUP is looking for employees for positions:
field service technician
Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- complete all work to the highest standards in accordance with Health and Safety policies
- service and maintain Scotmas Equipment across multiple sites throughout the UK
- perform chemical top-ups at sites in line with the assigned working schedule
- assist with the installation of Scotmas equipment
- work both independently and as part of a team to meet targets and objectives
- participate in rotational weekend call-out cover as required, in accordance with our on-call policy
- utilize electronic job card and time-keeping systems
- occasionally attend training sessions and review meetings at our headquarters in the Scottish Borders
Requirements
- minimum of 3 years of field service experience with a mechanical/electrical background
- NVQ Level 2 Plumbing/pipefitting or similar qualifications would be advantageous but not necessary
- CSCS card or equivalent Health and Safety awareness certifications would be beneficial
- proficient problem-solving skills and the ability to methodically troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
- must possess a clean UK Driving License
- good IT literacy
- strong interpersonal and customer communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively in face-to-face interactions
- self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working efficiently and independently
