Responsibility
- our busy schoolwear business is looking for a new Retail Manager for its concession in Bentalls Department Store, Kingston-upon-Thames
- school Zone supplies the uniform for a number of schools in the Kingston and surrounding areas
- manage the daily operations of the shop floor
- we are looking for a candidate who is experienced, organised and reliable who will represent our company well
- serve customers, deal with customer enquiries and complaints
- manage 3-6 retail assistants, motivating them to achieve sales and provide excellent customer service
- create a healthy and enjoyable store work environment
- oversee the staff rota and ensure the department is appropriately staffed during all opening hours
Requirements
- must have retail management experience, including experience in managing a team
- organised
- efficient
- pro-active
- reliable and dependable
- good knowledge of sales
- great interpersonal and communication skills
- excellent leadership skills
