• analyse project documents, such as drawings, specifications and assessment reports to determine the scope for projects
• collaborate with Sanper project managers, directors, and office team to obtain quotes from specialist contractors and clarify project details
• cost planning, budget estimating, review and challenge contractor estimates, feedback into benchmarking and lessons learnt

• monitor actual costs against budget and prepare contract forecasts, identification of commercial risks and opportunities

• lead on regular cost and contract audits to ensure contractor compliance with contract conditions
• maintain a comprehensive database of cost data for future estimating for similar works
• collaborate with project managers and other Sanper team members to review and refine project estimates, addressing any changes required

• provide contractual advice to the business and the project team, informing appropriate management of contractual issues and ensure the delivery team understand the contractual conditions
• manage own portfolio of works
• conduct site visits and inspections to assess the condition of buildings and infrastructure, identify areas requiring repair or upgrades and advise client accordingly, and gather necessary information for accurate cost estimation
• day to day contract and commercial management including managing communication and notifications to timescales, payment assessment, managing and valuing change and early warnings and review of claims to and from Sanper Construction
• lead on all commercial matters in meetings and collaborative planning sessions
• weekly reports to be sent to Sanper directors/stakeholders and senior management team
• ensure all commercial and contractual issues are resolved and dealt with in a timely manner

Requirements
