Responsibility

to work as required within the organisation and in any location, which may be outside of the area

the post is subject to a 6-month probationary period
to undertake any other duties that may be reasonably requested
to work a rota pattern that includes weekends, evenings, sleep over and bank holiday working. To understand that the rota is subject to change at short notice
to have an individual role and responsibility within a team such as Equality Representative, Health & Safety Representative, Education Representative, Complaints & Newsletter Representative, Young Persons Health Representative
to act as a member of the staff team, supporting colleagues and being prepared to receive support and advice as necessary

Requirements

experience of working with Looked After Children and Young People
experience of working with Children and Young People who have experienced early childhood trauma
experience of working with Children and Young People who present challenging behaviours
experience of working within a Children’s residential setting
knowledge of psychotherapeutic techniques and approaches
willingness to work towards further qualifications as required by the company and/or as identified as part of PDR
knowledge of the relevant regulations, legislation and statutory guidance
experience of working shift patterns
