Responsibility
- sales reports - You will be required to prepare monthly sales reports providing commentary on variances
- controls - You will be a qualified accountant possessing a very strong understanding of the accounting concepts which are essential in delivering robust control procedures and seeing the process through from business records to monthly management accounts and finally annual audited accounts
- team management - You will be responsible for managing a team of two accounts assistants. You will be responsible for providing support and assistance in developing them and the systems and procedures they work with
- bank reconciliation - You will carry out on a weekly basis the bank reconciliation to ensure all accounts are fully reconciled and any discrepancies are investigated and resolved in a timely manner
- debtors management - You will manage our accounts receivable function to ensure all customers are paying in line with their credit terms
- VAT and Corporation Tax - You will be responsible for completing the quarterly VAT and Corporation Tax calculations and submissions to HMRC
- any other relevant duties that may be assigned
