Responsibility

  • we are looking for a Commis to assist the production and preparation in our store in Glasgow
  • follow recipes and established standards for food preparation
  • monitors kitchen equipment and reports issues to superiors
  • continually develops culinary knowledge to produce high-quality meals
  • ensure that all food is prepared properly and to the highest standard of quality
  • clean food preparation areas, equipment, and take-out areas
  • the Commis will prepare food and beverages according to recipes and established standards, as well as maintain a clean and sanitized environment in and around the restaurant
  • ensure that all health standards are met for food service operations

Requirements

  • higher certification in culinary arts preferred
  • 1-2 years of work experience in a similar role
  • good understanding of food, health, and safety regulations
  • excellent communication skills
  • computer literate
  • able to work holidays and weekends
