- moore Ross Ltd are a multi-disciplinary surveying practice providing a wide range of services within the construction industry
- we are looking for an enthusiastic Quantity Surveying / Estimator Apprentice to join our team based in Dunfermline
- prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
- conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis
- collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate project specifications
- driving license preferred but not essential
- monitor project progress and provide regular reports on cost variations
- evaluate and assess potential risks and opportunities for cost savings
Education
- diploma of Higher Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- bachelor's degree, or currently studying towards, in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar role
- strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and regulations
- excellent analytical and numerical skills
- strong attention to detail and accuracy
- effective communication and negotiation skills
- surveying: 1 year
