Requirements
- minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- demonstrable experience in robotics and/or electronics system design
- strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- familiarity with servo motors and PWM signals
- proficiency in Python, with experience in programming Raspberry Pi
- experience in developing subsea solutions
- hands-on experience with prototyping and electronics control systems development
- competence in CAD and project management
Responsibility
- prototype electronic systems using off-the-shelf components such as cameras, pressure sensors, and motors
- develop control systems for remote operation, ensuring reliability and responsiveness
- make informed component selection decisions to enhance and empower established mechanical solutions
- devise and test power distribution systems
- support the system-wide integration of electronic components, collaborating closely with the mechanical engineering team
- contribute to the continuous improvement of our robotic systems through innovative design and practical problem-solving
Contract type
- august / September 2024 Start Date
- 9-month contract with potential for extension
- full time with flexible work hours and hybrid work arrangements negotiable
- 21 days holiday plus additional Christmas closure
- salary range of £28,000 - £30,000 FTE, commensurate with experience
