ridgewood Care Services is a small, family run business providing high quality support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviour in the East Sussex area
we’re seeking experienced, active, engaged and lively additions to our teams as we support people to live a fulfilling, meaningful and fun life in our Uckfield, Heathfield and Halland services
to promote service user attendance at their review meetings
ensure that appropriate person-centred support arrangements are in place for each individual
maintain service user administration records, the service users Main and day to day files
implement and monitor quality assurance strategies and documents, actively promoting a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements
passion for care working and willingness to develop your skills further
friendly, patient, calm and supportive outlook and approach to vulnerable individuals
reliability and flexibility
excellent communications skills and the ability to build relationships with clients, staff teams, supporting professionals and families
the role requires shift work , including occasional night support and sleep-ins
driving license preferred, but not necessary, for staff using company vehicles for community and activity access
experience with Medication Administration, Personal Centred Care, Positive Behavioural Support, Dysphagia, Epilepsy and Challenging Behaviour is desirable, however full training will be provided
minimum of 2 years senior/ management experience in a care setting
