parts manager
Responsibility
- main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- take charge of Goods Inwards and Outwards on a daily basis, dealing with carriers and fellow workers
- maintain computerised stock records and requisite paperwork
- take Customer enquiries for Spare Parts, and liaise with the sale and ordering of these
- issue Purchase Orders as required and match incoming Delivery Notes & Invoices
- work with Tradesmen and the Management Team to introduce agreed improvements and methods of working
- ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to
- ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures
Requirements
- education and Experience
- good general standard of education with Plumbing, Gas, Electrical or Metal materials knowledge
- knowledge and experience in customer service
- sound ability to operate an established computer system
- knowledge of quality systems and standards
- knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance
- key Competencies
- good customer manner with courtesy and clear diction
