- in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, particularly SRA regulations, AML, and financial reporting standards
- demonstrated experience in holding HOFA and COFA roles, or similar regulatory positions, is desirable
- strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to drive financial performance and manage risks
- excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams
- exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation
- proven experience as a Finance Director or in a senior financial management role, ideally within regulated sectors such as Estate Agency, Financial Services, or Conveyancing is desirable

Responsibility
- oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management accounts
- manage cash flow, investment strategies, and capital structure to optimize financial performance
- present financial performance and strategic plans to the board of directors and senior leadership team
- ensure compliance with all financial reporting requirements, both internal and external
- act as the primary point of contact for financial matters with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and investors
- work collaboratively with other departments to ensure alignment of financial objectives with overall business goals
