Responsibility

• managing a portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact
• preparation and review of sole trader and partnership accounts
• income tax computations and preparation of self-assessment tax returns

• limited company accounts and corporation tax return preparation
• be responsible for managing other members of the team, providing them with guidance, training and reviewing their work
• providing business and tax advice to clients
• identifying tax planning opportunities for individuals
• advising individuals and companies of their tax liabilities
• liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients

Requirements

• AAT qualified
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in an accountancy and tax practice specialising in small business is essential
• computer literate using a range of applications/programmes
