Responsibility
- ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to residents in accordance with care plans and regulatory requirements
- lead, manage and supervise a team of nurses and care staff
- undertake clinical assessments and develop care plans
- monitor and maintain accurate clinical records
- promote and maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and staff
- liaise with other healthcare professionals and families of residents
- attend regular meetings and training sessions to keep up to date with current best practice and regulatory requirements
- assist in the recruitment and induction of new staff members
Requirements
- registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN
- proven experience in managing a team of nurses and care staff
- experience in clinical assessment, care planning and medication administration
- knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- good IT skills
