maintenance technician
Requirements
- must have workplace experience in a Mechanical, Electrical or Dual Skilled role
- previous experience in corrugated manufacturing and/or Die Cut, Multipoint gluing or Flexographic printing will be advantageous
- strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically are essential to troubleshooting and diagnosing machine faults
- excellent communication skills with the ability to sustain and develop teamwork and team-based problem-solving
- well organised and able to work unsupervised
- A must is a formal electrical and mechanical engineering qualification i.e., apprenticeship, Degree, HND, HNC, City and Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3
- good numerical and analytical skills
- can do attitude
Responsibility
- identify and fix issues such as faulty wiring, broken fixtures or malfunctioning equipment
- abide by and support the company’s environmental and quality management procedures
- supporting continuous improvement initiatives that develop team performance
- keep up to date maintenance record including booking parts
- responsible for safe working environment ensuring meet H&S standards
