- researching, selecting, and purchasing quality products and materials
- perform supplier evaluation and audits in conjunction with the Quality Department
- building relationships with suppliers and negotiating with them to gain the most favourable price, quality, quantities, and delivery times
- working closely with suppliers to solve supply chain issues
- collecting and analysing sales data to help forecast purchasing trends
- management of documents such as supplier service level agreements and/or supplier audits
- processing purchase requisition requests and updating management on the status of orders
- updating inventory in Sage 200 and managing stock levels
