- experienced Head Chef required for small, 14 bedroom, family-run boutique hotel and wedding venue in the Sussex countryside
- must have banqueting experience
- must be a confident, self motivated, team player interested in the overall success of the hotel whilst individually ensuring the efficient management of your own kitchen
- responsible for planning, costing, preparing and cooking daily menus using high quality fresh, local and seasonal ingredients where possible, as well as stock purchasing and control, kitchen health & safety, food hygiene and general efficient kitchen management
- this is an ideal opportunity for a chef wanting to take responsibility and manage his/her own kitchen for up to 16 hotel guests during the week, with part time chefs assisting with weddings and other larger parties of up to 60 covers at weekends
