experienced Head Chef required for small, 14 bedroom, family-run boutique hotel and wedding venue in the Sussex countryside
must have banqueting experience
must be a confident, self motivated, team player interested in the overall success of the hotel whilst individually ensuring the efficient management of your own kitchen
responsible for planning, costing, preparing and cooking daily menus using high quality fresh, local and seasonal ingredients where possible, as well as stock purchasing and control, kitchen health & safety, food hygiene and general efficient kitchen management
this is an ideal opportunity for a chef wanting to take responsibility and manage his/her own kitchen for up to 16 hotel guests during the week, with part time chefs assisting with weddings and other larger parties of up to 60 covers at weekends
