Responsibility
- to be involved with the direct delivery of the child/ren’s My Plans
- to support the children to develop and thrive at a pace which is optimal for each individual child
- to be there to provide a smile at every possible opportunity
- to maintain appropriate confidentiality regarding the children and their families
- to review and evaluate the effectiveness of the inclusion plans alongside the setting SENDCO
- to collate and write appropriate observations and short reports as requested with the support of the SENDCO
- to represent your viewpoint of the child’s strengths and progress at multiagency meetings as required, alongside the SENDco
- to provide caring play opportunities appropriate to the needs of the children and with the support of the wider childcare team
Requirements
- some experience of working with young children / children with special educational needs is essential and a recognised professional qualification in Early Years work would be desirable
