manufacturing manager
Responsibility
- manufacturing projects are appropriately planned and resourced in line with the agreed schedule / timelines
- maintaining the short and long-term support plans/schedule
- the manufacturing laboratory is ‘fit for its intended purpose’ and all equipment is appropriately validated / calibrated
- ‘Good Manufacturing Practice’ and the working environment is maintained in line with the business requirements
- all manufacturing processes, procedures, & policies are up to date and always adhered to
- all manufacturing staff are appropriately trained and competent in performing their manufacturing duties
- potential opportunities for improvements are identified and proposed to management
- support the Operations Director in the performance assessment of support staff
Requirements
- applicants must have supervisory experience within the manufacturing setting
- good understanding of manufacturing processes
- quality on process / procedural control and manufacturing events
- degree/ qualification in life sciences with a technical understanding of the concepts of molecular microbiology
- materials and stock teams on the requirements for manufacturing biologicals / consumables
- good understanding and working knowledge of ISO13485 and QMS aspects related to manufacturing i.e. raising, handling events, root cause analysis etc
- senior Management at regular Operations meetings on operational planning/scheduling, reporting against schedule
- ability to work in a fast paced environment
