Responsibility
- we are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Residential Childcare Worker to join our team
- undertake a lead role in ensuring the care and welfare of each child in placement
- attend meetings and training sessions as required
- provide guidance and support to all Residential Workers
- plan, manage, and lead shifts, ensuring the safety and engagement of children throughout the day
- ensure all staff act in a professional manner and adhere to policies and procedures
- maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- raise any serious issues or concerns directly with the Registered Manager
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- previous experience working in a residential childcare setting
- relevant qualification in childcare, social work, or a related field
- strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- ability to manage and supervise staff effectively
- commitment to promoting the welfare and rights of children and young people
- support Environment: 1 year
- residential Childcare: 2 years
