- QA Level 5 Diploma in First Response Emergency and Urgent Care
- QA Level 4 Diploma for Associate Ambulance Practitioners
- FAQ Level 4 Diploma for Associate Ambulance Practitioners
- IHCD Ambulance Aid Level 3
- physically fit and able to handle the demands of the role
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience of working in a similar environment or relevant experience
- excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- excellent interpersonal skills
Responsibility
- working in collaboration with event organisers & other safety stakeholders to ensure a safe environment for all attendees
- any other duties commensurate with the role
- carrying out & recording equipment checks, and reporting defects
- recording all incidents , compliments & complaints
- the role of an ambulance technician is to act effectively, safely & promptly to preserve life, prevent deterioration & promote recovery
- ensuring a continuous duty of care to patients, within the scope of practice & competency of this role, ensuring an appropriate level of monitoring & treatment is maintained and continued until the patient is either discharged or transferred to the care of another healthcare staff member
- adhering to all ProMed policies & procedures
- maintaining accurate, up-to-date patient care records & reports
