- to be aware of the homes procedures & policies in relation to health and safety requirements
- to provide an efficient response to emergency situations
- where required, to attend in-service programmes and discussions appropriate to this appointment
- to understand the requirement for confidentiality in all matters relating to staff team members and residents
- to work in accordance with duty rosters on a flexible basis
- to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the Home having good knowledge of COSHH and infection control issues
- to always have regard to Health and Safety issues at work
- in liaison with colleagues to promote Equality of Opportunity and anti-discriminatory activity throughout the home
