  • to be aware of the homes procedures & policies in relation to health and safety requirements
  • to provide an efficient response to emergency situations
  • where required, to attend in-service programmes and discussions appropriate to this appointment
  • to understand the requirement for confidentiality in all matters relating to staff team members and residents
  • to work in accordance with duty rosters on a flexible basis
  • to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the Home having good knowledge of COSHH and infection control issues
  • to always have regard to Health and Safety issues at work
  • in liaison with colleagues to promote Equality of Opportunity and anti-discriminatory activity throughout the home
