Responsibility
- prepare a variety of pastries, cakes,danishes,croissants, desserts, and baked goods according to recipes and standards
- measure and mix ingredients, roll, cut, and shape dough
- monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure proper cooking
- decorate pastries using icing, glazes, and other toppings
- ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed in the kitchen
- clean and maintain baking equipment and utensils
Requirements
- previous experience as a pastry cook or in a similar role
- proficient in cooking techniques specific to pastry production
- knowledge of culinary techniques and principles of food preparation
- knowledge of various pastry types, fillings, and decorations
- familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in pastry production
- familiarity with restaurant kitchen operations
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- ability to work independently or as part of a team
