Farm Shop Chef / Cook (4 days, Day Shifts Only, Sundays Off) Bangor

Why not join the team here at our Farm Shop Kitchen.Hours: 28+ hours per week.Working 7:30am - 3.30pm, 4 to 5 days per week covering shifts Monday - Saturday on rota basis. To maintain the excellent standards already achieved we are looking for a dedicated team player that will share our commitment to providing a first class product to our customers.PURPOSE OF JOB:To work as part of the Catering Team in our Farm Shop and produce food of a high standard in a timely manner for the Farm Shop deli and Coffee shop.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESGeneral Food prep and Cooking in a busy Coffee Shop kitchenMaking Pies/Deli items and ready-made meals for Farm Shop and other outletsHandcrafting desserts, traybakes, scones etc to a high standardPreparing food to orderOrdering suppliesCleaning dutiesMaintaining HACCP recordsOther duties as requiredPERSON SPECIFICATION:The successful candidate will have had a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role/environmentIs motivated and hardworking with a flexible attitude to workCapable of fitting into an established team and working as part of that teamPhysically capable of carrying out the dutiesExperienced in cooking to order in a busy environmentCapable of producing pies and other deli products on a large scaleCapable of creating and decorating desserts, traybakes etc. to a high standardConsistently high standard, good multi taskerReliable and a good timekeeper.PLEASE NOTE:Please provide an up-to-date CV.
