Requirements
- two years or more experience working in hospitality and/or food hygiene, preferably including management of a bar, restaurant or café
- experience managing and rostering staff in a dynamic/pressurised hospitality environment
- experience of budget management and cost control in a hospitality setting
- work calmly under pressure and be able to multitask
- communicate clearly and effectively, both in person and in writing
- work well in a team and supporting and motivating team members, as well as providing regular team development
- maintain a can-do attitude and be solution-focussed
- understanding of all relevant health and safety and legal requirements for the operation of a food and beverage establishment, and relevant qualifications in hospitality and food hygiene/safety
Responsibility
- equipment management: overseeing the maintenance of equipment, reporting any issue in a timely manner, following up diligently, particularly with any issue which might impact on health and safety obligations
