- part of a group that includes Customade Group Ltd, Virtuoso Doors, and Stevenswood we are expanding and operate from our manufacturing facility based in Lenwade
- manage inventory levels and collaborate with the Inventory Manager, utilising stock control systems for Material requirements planning to maintain adequate raw material levels
- resolve employee relations issues in compliance with HR policies and procedures in liaison with the HR team, ensuring optimal performance levels
- lead Production Supervisors/Team/Cell Leaders, and Production Operatives to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and maximise productivity, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- lead the team in a safe, secure and compliant environment by operating within Company systems, policies and procedures
Requirements
- proven experience in a management role, overseeing and leading teams in a fabrication/manufacturing setting
- A wealth of previous experience in fabrication or manufacturing environments, particularly experience in a related industry
- familiarity with production targets and quality standards in a fabrication/manufacturing environment
- relevant vocational or technical qualification related to manufacturing or fabrication
- knowledge of health and safety regulations pertaining to the operation of machinery and equipment
- prior experience in training and developing Production teams to improve skills and performance
- experience in coordinating with cross functional teams to achieve production goals
- experience enhancing production planning and scheduling processes to optimise resource utilisation
