As you're probably aware, Plymouth City Council developed 'Caring Plymouth' and 'Skills Launchpad Plymouth' to connect people to opportunities in health and social care.
The Duke of Cornwall Hotel will host their next "career showcase in health and social care event on the 4th October 2024."
However, In light of recent press reports exposing the appalling treatment of vulnerable service users with disabilities and complex needs at this emergency and respite care facility, Douglass House, Efford, Plymouth, we, along with others, feel obligated to boycott this event in solidarity with the most vulnerable members of our society.
